What are Steel Hollow Sections (Box Section)?

Hollow Sections (box section) are produced from flat steel coil products. The steel coil is slit to the desired width, then roll-formed into a cylindrical shape, followed by roll-forming into the final shape and welding the edges together.

The hollow section is a tubular section available in various shapes, including rectangular hollow sections (RHS), square hollow sections (SHS), and circular hollow sections (CHS).

Hollow sections are produced in structural grades and are used in construction, manufacturing, frames, furniture, transport, security grills, and general fabrication.
