What is Cold Rolled Steel ?

Cold rolled steel is produced by re-rolling or drawing hot rolled steel at room temperature. The process of cold rolling changes the mechanical properties, such as strength and hardness. The surface is better quality with closer dimensional tolerances.

What is Cold Rolled Coil ?

Cold rolled coil (CRC) is produced from hot rolled coil by acid pickling to remove the oxide surface scale, annealing and temper rolling. Cold rolled coil is further processed to sheets or slit coil.

Batch Annealing (BA), as an alternative to Continuous Annealing (CA), provides flexibility in processing different grades and thicknesses, as each batch can be optimized individually. Batch annealing is preferred when specific steel grades require distinct annealing conditions.
