What are Shredder Hammers?
Shredder Hammers are used in shredding mills for the size reduction of metal scrap, such as automotive, steel/ferrous scrap, aluminium profiles, aluminum scrap, alternators, starter motors, copper wires, etc.
They are produced from cast steel, an alloy of iron and carbon that is made by pouring molten steel into molds to create solid steel products.
We supply high-quality, high-wear parts for metal shredders and scrap recycling machines including: Newell™, Lindemann™ and Texas Shredder™. Our spare parts for scrap shredders are selected for their high-quality workmanship, high tensile strength and shock resistance.
The range of products we manufacture includes hammers, grates, sieve plates and linings, impact plates, beaters, etc. We have extensive experience in the most demanding projects where Our products reduce the frequency of downtime related to the need to replace wear parts, which will directly translate into greater efficiency.
We use manganese alloy steel, low and medium alloy steel with increased abrasion resistance to make castings used in scrap shredders. High-quality material combined with continuous quality control means that our spare parts warrant high resistance and durability.
Specification
We supply cast steel products according to international standards. The castings undergo heat treatment processes in modern fully automated furnaces (annealing, tempering, quenching, standardisation)
The grades of steel include; The weight range of steel castings is between 5kg to 100kg, subject to batch size.
